Animals used for clothing, or used in laboratory product tests, suffer immensely with little protection from cruelty. Buying animal-free clothing (clothing without fur, leather, suede or wool) and beauty products not tested on animals are two great ways to stick up for animals.

Where To Buy Cruelty-Free Clothing and Beauty Products
Cruelty-free products are everywhere; they can be found at your local shoe store, mall, drug store and department store. For example, if you're looking for non-leather dress shoes you can find them at Payless or similar shoe stores, and companies like New Balance, Asics and many others have leather-free sneakers that can be found in any sneaker store (just look for shoes and sneakers with tags stating "All man-made materials"). If you're looking for cruelty-free beauty products, stores like Bath and Body Works, The Body Shop, MAC and LUSH carry many animal-free beauty products and do not conduct animal testing. Cruelty-free personal care products (like deodorant, toothpaste, etc.) can be found in any drug store - just check out the Caring Consumer guide to see which popular companies do and don't test on animals.
